One of my favorite new things to make is pizza! When buying store pizza I can never get what I want which is Pepperoni + Vegetables + thin crust. I can get just pepperoni or just cheese or just vegetables but not the magic combination I like. Definitely not thin crust.
I was in Sprouts one day and ran across super thin pizza crusts and decided to try my hand at making them. I also bought pepperoni, real mozzarella cheese – the ball packed in liquid, parmesean cheese, spinach, and mushrooms.
To cook I used my cast iron skillet.
- Turned on the broiler on my oven to pre-heat
- Put the skillet on the stove and lightly toasted the crusts on both sides
- Spread on some pasta sauce
- Chop mushrooms and add
- Add spinach leaves
- Slice mozzarella and place on top of vegetables
- Add shredded parmesean – or shredded mozzarella
- Sprinkle liberally with Italian seasoning
- Add pepperoni slices to top it off
- Put skillet in oven and cook until nice & bubbly – about 5 minutes or so
Y’all this was sooo good! I ate pizza for two weeks straight swapping different veggies and cheeses. One version I added sliced cherry tomatoes and another green peppers. You can make it with the ingredients you like and best of all it’s quick and easy to make.
Afiyet Olsun!
