Pizza Palooza

One of my favorite new things to make is pizza! When buying store pizza I can never get what I want which is Pepperoni + Vegetables + thin crust. I can get just pepperoni or just cheese or just vegetables but not the magic combination I like. Definitely not thin crust.

I was in Sprouts one day and ran across super thin pizza crusts and decided to try my hand at making them. I also bought pepperoni, real mozzarella cheese – the ball packed in liquid, parmesean cheese, spinach, and mushrooms.

To cook I used my cast iron skillet.

  1. Turned on the broiler on my oven to pre-heat
  2. Put the skillet on the stove and lightly toasted the crusts on both sides
  3. Spread on some pasta sauce
  4. Chop mushrooms and add
  5. Add spinach leaves
  6. Slice mozzarella and place on top of vegetables
  7. Add shredded parmesean – or shredded mozzarella
  8. Sprinkle liberally with Italian seasoning
  9. Add pepperoni slices to top it off
  10. Put skillet in oven and cook until nice & bubbly – about 5 minutes or so

Y’all this was sooo good! I ate pizza for two weeks straight swapping different veggies and cheeses. One version I added sliced cherry tomatoes and another green peppers. You can make it with the ingredients you like and best of all it’s quick and easy to make.

Afiyet Olsun!
